GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS SUNWAYTECH.CO.UK

These General Terms and Conditions apply to agreements concluded between BeerenDoorn B.V., trading as SunwayTech.nl, and private customers for the supply of solar panels, batteries and inverters. BeerenDoorn B.V. is located in the Netherlands and registered with the Chamber of Commerce under KVK number: 96074116.
1.1 SunwayTech: BeerenDoorn B.V., trading under SunwayTech.nl.
1.2 Customer: Any natural or legal person who enters into an Agreement with SunwayTech.
1.3 Products: Solar panels, batteries, inverters and any other accessories supplied by SunwayTech.
1.4 Agreement: The purchase agreement between SunwayTech and the customer regarding the supply of products.
1.5 Installation: The installation of the delivered products by SunwayTech or an authorized partner.
2.1 An agreement is formed when the customer places an order through the web shop or signs a written quotation and SunwayTech confirms this order in writing or digitally.
2.2 The customer has the right to cancel the agreement free of charge up to the time of delivery or installation.
2.3 SunwayTech reserves the right to supply an equivalent or better product in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
3.1 All prices stated on the website and quotations include VAT unless otherwise indicated.
3.2 The customer shall pay the invoice within 7 days of delivery or installation.
3.3 SunwayTech reserves the right to suspend deliveries or installations until full payment is received.
4.1 SunwayTech shall deliver the ordered products to the address specified by the customer.
4.2 Installation work shall only be performed by SunwayTech or an approved installation partner.
4.3 The customer is responsible for providing a suitable location for installation. If it appears that installation is not possible due to construction problems, asbestos or other safety hazards, SunwayTech may cancel the installation.
5.1 Solar panels are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty of at least 10 years, unless otherwise specified.
5.2 Inverters and batteries are covered by a warranty of 5 to 15 years, depending on the product and manufacturer.
5.3 SunwayTech is not liable for damage caused by external factors such as lightning, vandalism or improper use of the products.
5.4 If a product becomes defective within the warranty period, SunwayTech will provide a repair or replacement in accordance with the manufacturer’s terms and conditions.
5.5 SunwayTech shall not be liable for lost energy output in the event of a defect or malfunction.
6.1 The customer has the right to rescind the Agreement within 14 days of delivery without giving any reason, provided that the products are returned unused and in their original packaging.
6.2 The cost of return shipping shall be borne by the customer, unless SunwayTech has made a mistake in delivery.
6.3 Custom products and specially ordered battery systems are excluded from the right of rescission.
7.1 SunwayTech is not liable for delays or damages due to force majeure, including strikes, natural disasters, transportation problems or changes in laws and regulations.
8.1 Dutch law shall govern all agreements between SunwayTech and the Customer.
8.2 Disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
